Flights
If you are flying in for the wedding, you’ll find the closest airport to be San Jose (SJC), but San Francisco (SFO) is not much further. Often flights to either airport are priced equally.
Lodging
We have a blocks of rooms at the Westin ($129) & Sheraton ($109), Palo Alto for your stay. You have up to 30 days before the wedding (October 12) to book a room with the reduced rate. Just tell them you know us.
Places to eat
Here are some of our favorite places to eat in the area. Check back for frequent updates.
Niebaum-Coppola
473 University Ave, Palo Alto
A combination wine bar and cafe, features rustic Italian cuisine, including wood-fired pizzas, fresh antipasti, and made-to-order pastas. We visited their winery in Napa during our engagement day.
Spago
265 Lytton Ave, Palo Alto
A favorite of Ryan’s… Creative American cuisine, influenced by Asia and the Mediterranean.
Pluto’s
482 University Ave, Palo Alto
Great salads and sandwiches at this Stanford favorite. Ryan eats here at least twice a month.
Coupa Cafe
482 University Ave, Palo Alto
This is where Ryan finally told Rachell he was interested in her. Coupa is a spectacular cafe featuring mountain grown single estate coffees from Venezuela. Along with chocolates and bistro inspired meals.
